The E-Quad 15 V.2-R31 is a four-wheeled electric mobility scooter that produces zero emissions and is very economical to maintain. Legal provisions & general information
§1 Registration
The E-Quad 15 V.2 is subject to insurance and registration requirements. The package includes an EU type approval (ECC), which you can use to apply for a license plate from the insurance provider of your choice. The license plate must be affixed to the vehicle in a clearly visible location to comply with legal requirements.
§2 Driver’s License
The E-Quad 15 V.2-R31 is legally classified as a mobility scooter; therefore, no driver’s license is required. The minimum age for use is 15 years. Please check for any additional regional regulations, which may vary.
§3 Helmet Requirement
There is no helmet requirement for riding the E-Quad 15 V.2-R31. However, it is strongly recommended that you always wear a seatbelt to increase your safety.
§4 Number of Passengers
The E-Quad 15 V.2 is approved for use by one person only. Carrying additional passengers, pets, or heavy objects may compromise the stability and safety of the vehicle and is not permitted.
§5 The COC (EU Certificate of Conformity)
The COC document is your operating permit and must always be carried with you along with proof of insurance. The COC is a document valid throughout the EU and must therefore be written in the official language, English.
