ERS-6 Li electric wheelchair The Rolektro ERS-6 electric wheelchair is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable mobility aid. Two 250-watt motors provide solid performance and enable a maximum speed of up to 6 km/h. The wheelchair has a dual drive mode that allows both electric and manual operation. This means you are always in control, whether you are driving yourself or being pushed. The 24V-20Ah lithium battery integrated into the electric wheelchair offers a range of approximately 20 km and is also particularly lightweight. It can be easily removed, making charging convenient and flexible. Another highlight is the electric push assist, which makes it easier for companions to move the wheelchair over slopes or uneven terrain without having to exert much force. The ERS-6 is equipped with an electromagnetic braking system and a parking brake (handbrake) for maximum safety. Nevertheless, for safety reasons, we recommend that you take out liability insurance or include the ERS-6 in your existing personal liability insurance. Written confirmation from the insurer is required for this. Driver's license No driver's license is required to drive the Rolektro ERS-6, as it reaches a maximum speed of 6 km/h. Where can and may an electric wheelchair be driven? Electric wheelchairs are generally allowed to be driven on sidewalks, provided they do not exceed walking speed (6 km/h). If there is no sidewalk or if it is not passable, the electric wheelchair may be driven on the road. It is important to stay as close to the edge of the road as possible and to be clearly visible to other road users. In pedestrian zones, the same rules generally apply as on sidewalks. The use of bike paths is generally not permitted with electric wheelchairs. Always pay attention to additional traffic signs that may impose restrictions on electric wheelchairs. Helmet and seat belt requirements There is no helmet or seat belt requirement for users of the Rolektro ERS-6. Nevertheless, it is advisable to use the integrated seat belt to ensure additional safety. Registration and tax exemption The Rolektro ERS-6 is registration-free and exempt from motor vehicle tax in accordance with § 3 No. 1 KraftStG (German Motor Vehicle Tax Act). Therefore, no motor vehicle taxes are payable and the vehicle does not have to undergo a TÜV inspection. Number of passengers The Rolektro ERS-6 is only permitted to be operated by one person. It is not permitted to carry additional passengers.
